The restoration of the house was based on the philosophy of preservation and reintegration into the present. The house was given new life without losing its identity, incorporating modern amenities and functionality, while retaining the textures, materials and feel of its original phase. The goal was to create an authentic hospitality experience that respects the past and meets the needs of the modern guest.
Building description & architectural features
It is a traditional residence embedded in a historical settlement, which has been restored with absolute respect to the original materials and architectural details of the original construction. The stone, the arches and the traditional forms were preserved and highlighted, while they were harmoniously combined with modern construction solutions. The new use for tourist hospitality was subtly integrated, offering comfort and functionality without altering the character and historical memory of the building.
