Traditional settlement of Myrthios

The architectural design focuses on the preservation and promotion of the character of the traditional settlement, through clean rectangular volumes and mild morphological interventions. The use of exposed and coated stonework, wooden frames and tiled roofs, combined with earthy tones, ensures morphological continuity with the built environment and the harmonious integration of the buildings into the landscape.
Building Description & Architectural Features
The complex consists of three buildings (K1, K2, K3). K1 is developed on the ground floor and first floor with two independent apartments, K2 is configured as a maisonette, while K3 is a ground floor building with an attic addition and an internal staircase. The structural composition is based on clean volumes, with exposed stonework, wooden frames, tiled roofs and earthy colours. Natural light and ventilation are provided through appropriate openings and skylights.
